SIOBHAN F. KRATOVIL
Siobhan represents public and private companies
in merger and acquisition transactions, including
asset sales, stock sales, and mergers. She
also represents investors and issuers in public and
private debt
and equity financing. Siobhan advises clients
concerning federal and state securities law compliance,
corporate
planning, business organization formations,
and corporate governance. She is experienced in representing
investors
and issuers in venture-stage and growth companies.
She has extensive experience in representing
non-profit organizations in corporate planning, business
organization
formations, and corporate governance. Siobhan
has worked with clients in a variety of industries,
including
commercial and residential real estate, hospitality,
commercial lending, construction, oil and gas,
medical product and pharmaceutical manufacturing,
and health
care. Siobhan’s clients have ranged from sole
proprietorships to start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.
Siobhan is a member of the State Bar of Texas,
the Dallas Bar Association, Dallas Texas Exes, Dallas-Fort
Worth St. Mary’s University Alumni Association,
and the P.M. League of the Dallas Museum of Art.
Prior to joining Balestri & Associates in 2005,
Siobhan was a member of the Corporate and Securities
section of Locke Liddell & Sapp LLP for five
years. During law school, Siobhan was a member of
the Texas Journal of Business Law.
Siobhan received her J.D. from the University of
Texas School of Law in 2000. In 1997, she received
her Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from
St. Mary’s University, with a major in International
Relations and minor in Business Administration. Siobhan
also studied internationally at University College
Dublin and the Universidad-Ibero Americana in Puebla, Mexico. |
